Privacy policy

Last updated 11 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who we share it with and the choices you have.

It covers two different things: this website, and the AI-Mond service that firms use to read their clients’ financial documents. We treat them differently, so we describe them separately.

01Who we are

AI-Mond (“we”, “us”) is a platform that reads bank statements, credit card statements, invoices and receipts for chartered accountants, audit firms, forensic firms and lenders.

Registered address: CC 8011, 12, 13, Bharat Diamond Bourse, Bandra Kurla Complex, Bandra (East), Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. For anything in this policy, write to [email protected].

02The website and the service

This website

When you visit this site or book a demo, we decide what data is collected and why. For that data we are the Data Fiduciary under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (and the controller under the GDPR, where it applies).

The AI-Mond service

When a firm uses AI-Mond, it uploads documents about its own clients: statements, invoices and the like. The firm decides what is uploaded and why. For that data the firm is the Data Fiduciary and AI-Mond is its Data Processor: we process the documents only to provide the service, on the firm’s instructions, under our agreement with that firm and its data processing terms.

If your details appear in documents a firm has uploaded (for example, you are a client of a CA firm that uses AI-Mond), please contact that firm first. We will help them answer your request.

03What we collect on this website

  • When you book a demo: your name, work email, phone or WhatsApp number, and, if you add them, your firm, the kind of work you do and any notes. We use these to set up the call, to prepare for it and to follow up with you about AI-Mond.
  • When you write to us: whatever you choose to include in your message, used to reply.
  • Technical data: like any website, our hosting provider and the services listed below receive your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, because that is how web pages are delivered. We use this only to run and protect the site.

We don’t use analytics tools or advertising cookies on this site, and we don’t sell personal data.

04Who else receives website data

A few services help run this site. Each receives only what it needs:

ServiceWhat forWhat it receives
Cal.comScheduling demo calls and sending the calendar inviteThe details you enter when you book, and the time you pick
Google FontsServing the site’s typefacesYour IP address and browser details, when the fonts load
Cloudflare TurnstileTelling people from bots on the bank directory’s branch lookupBrowser and device signals; it may set a security cookie
Our hosting providerDelivering the siteYour IP address and the pages you request

These providers may process data outside India. Where they do, we rely on their published terms and safeguards. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

05Cookies and browser storage

This site keeps a few small preferences in your browser’s local storage, such as whether you prefer the bank directory as cards or a ledger, and whether you have dismissed a notice. They stay on your device and are never sent to us. Clearing your browser’s site data removes them.

If the bank directory’s bot check runs, Cloudflare may set a security cookie so you aren’t checked again on every lookup. We set no advertising or tracking cookies.

06Data inside the AI-Mond service

For the documents firms upload, and the people who use AI-Mond at those firms:

  • Where it runs: in AI-Mond’s cloud, in the region the firm chooses; inside the firm’s own cloud account (VPC); or on the firm’s own servers.
  • Who can see what: users sign in through single sign-on where the firm sets it up, and the firm decides who can view, edit and export each case.
  • What is recorded: sign-ins, edits and exports are logged, and so is every time someone reveals a full sensitive field, such as a PAN.
  • Account data: for the people who use AI-Mond, we hold their name, work email, role and usage records, to run the service and support the firm.

07How long we keep it

  • Demo bookings and messages: for as long as we are in touch about AI-Mond, then for 90 days, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
  • Documents in the AI-Mond service: as the firm’s agreement with us sets out. The firm can delete a case, and its data is removed when the agreement ends, subject to any period the law requires us to keep records.

08Your rights

Under India’s DPDP Act, 2023, you can ask us to:

  • give you a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
  • correct, complete, update or erase it;
  • withdraw consent you gave earlier, for the future;
  • hear and resolve a grievance; and
  • let someone you nominate exercise these rights if you die or become unable to.

If you are in the EU or the UK, the GDPR also gives you the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or port your data, and to object to how we use it.

Write to [email protected]. We may need to confirm who you are before we act. For data a firm uploaded to AI-Mond, we will pass your request to that firm.

09Grievances

Our Grievance Officer is Sarvath Shetty, reachable at [email protected], on +91 93212 12495, or by post at CC 8011, 12, 13, Bharat Diamond Bourse, Bandra Kurla Complex, Bandra (East), Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. We reply within 90 days at most, as the DPDP Rules require.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India. In the EU or the UK, you can contact your local data protection authority.

10Children

This site and AI-Mond are for professionals. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 through this site.

11Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change matters, for example a new use of your data, we will tell people we are in touch with before it takes effect.

12Trademarks and sources

Bank names and logos shown on this site, including in the bank directory, are trademarks of their respective owners. Showing them doesn’t mean any bank partners with or endorses AI-Mond.

Branch and IFSC details in the bank directory come from the Reserve Bank of India’s IFSC list, as published in Razorpay’s open IFSC dataset under the MIT licence.
